Prerequisites: It is for the workers who have completed 24 hour or 40 hour of
HAZWOPER training.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- Site Characterization for identifying the hazards that can possibly be found in the workplace and the steps to minimize the hazards.
- Understand toxicology principles and their relation to the various types of chemical exposures.
- To develop a Medical Surveillance Program and understand the purpose.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Understand decontamination methods, principles of decontamination and levels of decontamination.
- Understand potential hazardous situations that involve oxidizers, solvents, corrosives and reactive chemicals.
- Understand various considerations during an emergency and the importance of training and actions to personal safety and that of others.
