COURSE DESCRIPTION:
HAZWOPER 24 hour course meets the requirements for Hazwoper OSHA Card under 29 CFR, Part 1910.120 (e). This course covers 24 hours of training discussing a broad issue that pertains to the hazards recognition at work places. The
HAZWOPER training will help to protect the workers at hazardous sites and also provide extensive regulations to ensure safety and health in the work sites. This course will help workers to identify different types of hazards and also help suggest possible precaution and the preventive measures to reduce and eliminate work site hazards.

Course Pre-requisite: None.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the purpose of OSHA and its role in regulating occupational safety
- Encourage the use of Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS) to identify and properly handle hazardous materials
- Familiarize with materials, compounds and mixtures that may present flammable, explosive, chemical or radiological hazards
- Emphasize the importance of personal protective equipment to limit hazardous exposure
- Use Site Characterization to establish problems existing in your workplace and measures that can be implemented to eliminate hazards
- Implement procedures for treating workers in the event of hazardous exposure
- Identify hazardous materials existing in the workplace and the possible methods, symptoms and preventative measures of exposure
- Establish an effective Site Control Program to limit the risk of exposure to only those working in the hazardous work zone
